Merry Christmas to all…

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I’ll be spending it with my daughter & her family. You know, sometimes I miss the days when I was in the midst of Christmas for 8, all the wrapping, cooking, etc., but at this point in my life, I really love spending the day just being thankful for all the blessings He has given me. There’s nothing more important than God and family and I’m blessed to have both. My eldest son is home from Iraq, safe and whole, the rest of my kids are all healthy and relatively happy, my sister is my best friend and I’m surrounded by some of the strongest and most intelligent women in the literary world…Uh, oh, I cry at the drop of a hat! 

Just take a moment and reflect on your blessings. Love you all!

‘Banned from Vegas’ Holloway’s Halloween Grand Prize Winner

Well, I’ve come to the end of my tour and what an end it was! Last night, Holloway’s Halloween had a book signing Halloween Party @ The Social Bar and Patio Lounge in Houston, compliments of PHE Ink and Nia Promotions. Great crowd, good food and even better drinks! We’ll be posting pictures on facebook soon.

To all the Aceoholics who showed up, thank you for making this one of the best literary events I’ve ever had.  I even met some of my facebook friends & fans! I’m overwhelmed by the way everyone is responding to my novels. Talk about giving me the incentive to write!  

Now, drumroll, please…

The GRAND PRIZE WINNER of the ‘Banned from Vegas’ Virtual Tour is JOYCE DICKERSON. Joyce will be receiving a collection of seven of my favorite books and various promo items, T-shirts, bookmarks, baseball cap, etc.  Congratulations, Joyce! Holloway’s Halloween ‘Banned from Vegas’ last stop

It was great and I’m overwhelmed by the response I’ve had. You all hold a special place in my heart.

Today, I get to talk with my girl, author Destiny Carter. We met on BTR in 2007 when she reviewed Ace of Hearts and then this year, we met in person when she was one of the authors who attended the Quad A event in Atlanta.
