Hi Aceoholics,

2010 began with the discovery that New Year’s Day might just be my favorite holiday. Why? ‘Cause I did absolutely nothing! I spent yesterday in my soft, fleece pjs (they remind me of a baby blanket ;o) and was in TV heaven with marathons of The Twilight Zone and Hitchcock movies. I think my favorite Hitchcock movie is …oh, I can’t just pick one. He was the king of strange. I checked my On Demand and even found 2 episodes of One Step Beyond.  Jackpot!

Pure laziness has its advantages and I did it with only a twinge of guilt and that’s only because hubby decided to paint the living room while I laid in bed, nothing exciting, he painted 2 walls and the ceiling white. It wouldn’t have been my choice, but it does look so clean. 

I topped it all off with Alvin and the Chipmunks (yeah, OK, I’m never growing up and I needed a little levity after my supernatural day). Besides, I love their version of Funky Town! I went to sleep with a smile on my face and today I’m ready to get back to reality and face my manuscripts.
